Audit-proof archiving of web content with OWA

The Offline Web Archive (OWA) is an OAIS-(ISO 14721)- and WARC-(ISO 28500)-compliant system for audit-proof archiving of web content.
The curator can download, manage and organize complete web sites or selected web content.
The site coding and site functions remain unchanged in the archive. Special technical skills are not required to work with the system.
Even complex projects can easily be managed by the archivist.

Secure servers
All system functions run in the background and are controlled against loss of data or modifications. Even complex configurations can be implemented and edited.
The archiving processes are carried out automatically ensuring the integrity and authenticity of the archived data.

Processing of multimedia records
With the Offline Web Archive even dynamic web content such as flash, audio and video files can be downloaded and remain fully functional in the archive.

The integrated site analysis feature and the statistical tools ensure complete integrity of sites and functions.
The OWA web client ensures that only elements stored in the archive are displayed.
The integrated file and site analyzer gives a complete overview of the archived elements.

Integrity and authenticity of archived records
All processes, from downloading to archiving the data, are automated and secured against accidental or unauthorized user intervention.
Users cannot modify source codes. All files remain unchanged from the downloaded/provided version.
Additionally, all files managed in the archive are protected by a hash code.
